CFSI Loan Management Welcomes New VP of Business Development

CFSI Loan Management has added David Olson to their team as VP of business development.

He comes to CFSI Loan Management after having spent more than 20 years in various roles with various business services and niche financial services firms.

Most recently he served as VP of Finance and Business Development for RCN Capital, LLC. RCN is a private lender that specializes in making short-term "bridge" and "rehab" loans to purchasers of smaller commercial properties, as well non-owner occupied residential properties.

At RCN, Olson's main responsibilities included identifying and opening new marketing channels and business opportunities, as well as sourcing new capital for the firm. He was also highly involved in establishing operational procedures and controls across various areas of the firm, including loan administration and portfolio management.

He also has operating experience working at a leading life settlements firm as COO for several years. Olson spent six years as a co-founder and partner at Ironwood Capital, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm that provided capital raising and advisory services to middle market business services and niche lender clients.

He holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth.
