Financial Literacy Day Offers Consultation to Congressional Employees

The company recently announced that it will hold a free clinic for Congressional employees on Tuesday, April 17.

The financial planning initiative from CFP is part of the ""2012 Financial Literacy Day"":http://www.jumpstart.org/hill-day.html, which was organized by ""Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy"":www.jumpstart.org. Honorary co-hosts for Financial Literacy Day include U.S. Senators Daniel K. Akaka (D-Hawaii), Thad Cochran (R-Mississippi), Michael Enzi (R-Wyoming), Kay Hagan (D-North Carolina), and Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon).

Through the clinic, CFP will offer one-on-one personal finance consultation for participants. Attendees for the CFP event will gain advice on mortgages, budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, investment strategies, educational funding, income tax preparation, and insurance.

The CFP will offer its services to members of the public who are participating in Financial Literacy Day, and all in attendance are invited to join the financial planning clinic.
