vice president for its board of directors, and he has been very active in helping the group achieve its goal of extending grants for mortgage payments to families with critically ill or injured children.

Teaming up with Spare Key in 2000, Arrigoni utilized his position within U.S. Bank Home Mortgage to secure sponsorships for Spare Key. He was also responsible for recruiting support for the charitable organization from among the financial institutions partners and vendors. Arrigoni's work for Spare Key resulted in elevated fundraising to help provide relief for the families and individuals in need of mortgage payment assistance through Spare Key.

The MBA's chairman, Michael W. Young, commented on Arrigoni's honor, saying, ""Dan's impact on behalf of Spare Key has been profound. It reminds us that homeownership is more than mortgages and financing. We at MBA are honored and delighted to present this award to Dan for work in the Minnesota community and beyond.""

While Arrigoni finished his tenure as the vice president of Spare Key's board of directors in 2010, his impact on the Minnesota-based non-profit is lasting. In a company statement, Spare Key noted the importance of Arrigoni's efforts on behalf of the group, emphasizing the enormous achievement of giving families with sick children a chance to spend more time together under such challenging circumstances.
