WFG National Title Insurance Company has named Thomas Klein, Esq. to continue the company’s growth and momentum by overseeing its relationships with the nation’s largest independent title agencies. He will now serve as SVP overseeing the company’s National Agency Division.

Klein replaces Roger Blauvelt in the role, who will be retiring after 40 years in the settlement services industry.

“Tom is a major reason for the growth of WFG and its Agency group,” said Charles Cain, EVP overseeing the company’s National and Central Agency regions. “We have the utmost confidence our national agencies will quickly come to value his support and appreciate his partnership.”

He continued, "Clint has built our presence in South Carolina exponentially year over year, and he has done so by serving as an ally and resource for his agents. We have no doubt he will do the same in overseeing the Southeast region."

Klein assumes his new role after serving as SVP, Agency, Southeast Region. He has 35 years' experience in the title and settlement services industry. Before coming to WFG National Title in 2010, Klein was VP with Alliance Solutions, LLC, a national consulting firm specializing in business process and compliance consultation for title agencies and underwriters. Before that, Klein spent 22 years as an officer with one of the industry’s largest title insurance companies. Prior to working with the insurer, Klein was the president and founder of Virginia Escrow & Title Company, Richmond’s largest independent title agency when it was sold in 1987. He is a past president of the Virginia Land Title Association and has also practiced real estate law with a private firm.

“Tom has played a significant role in the growth of WFG’s agency division,” said Patrick Stone, president and CEO for Williston Financial Group. “He has earned the trust and respect of independent agents and colleagues throughout the industry with his calm leadership and unyielding support.”

In a related move, Clinton Yarborough will succeed Klein in overseeing WFG’s Southeast Agency division. Yarborough will continue to fulfill his duties as Agency State Manager/Counsel for WFG’s agents in South Carolina in addition to attending to his new duties. Yarborough has been with WFG since 2011. He came to WFG National Title from one of the industry’s largest title insurers, where he served as Associate State Counsel. Before that, he was Underwriting and Claims Counsel for Atlantic Title Insurance Company, where he oversaw the underwriting and claims administration for all 13 states in which that firm was licensed.

“Tom is a major reason for the growth of WFG and its Agency group,” said Charles Cain, EVP overseeing the company’s National and Central Agency regions. “We have the utmost confidence our national agencies will quickly come to value his support and appreciate his partnership."
