man-walking-w-briefcaseStewart Title Guaranty Company recently announced that Ted Faust, senior agency services manager of Tennessee, has been selected as president of the Tennessee Land Title Association (TNLTA), one of the largest trade associations of the title insurance industry in the state of Tennessee.

“We are in a time of tremendous transformation and challenges in the title industry, and I am excited about working with our board of directors, committee chairs and TNLTA members in preparation for the upcoming changes,” Faust said. “TNLTA does a great job of providing educational opportunities and monitoring legislative issues that impact the title industry. To serve in a leadership role for this organization is very rewarding.”

According to Stewart, Faust has been an active member of the TNLTA for 18 years. He has served on many committees and has chaired the Legislative, Title PAC, and Membership Committees. He has also served two separate terms on the TNLTA Board of Directors in 2002 through 2003 and 2013 through 2014.

Faust joined Stewart in 2010 and has since achieved gold-level designation in the Darryl Turner Sales Certification Program. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the title industry working with major underwriters into his new position with Stewart.
