Single-family rental homes provider Invitation Homes has appointed G. Irwin Gordon as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer.

Investment firm Blackstone Group LP plans to go public with its Invitation Homes unit sometime during the first half of 2017, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Invitation Homes, a nationwide provider of home leasing headquartered in Dallas, Texas, has announced the addition of two senior executives, Elizabeth “Jiggs” foster and Holly Costello.

According to data they used from the American Housing Survey, over 14 million single-family homes in the U.S. were renter occupied in 2013. This represents 12 percent of the entire U.S. housing stock, or in other words, 1 in 8 U.S. households, and more than one-third of the rental housing stock.
