Business Development Leader Joins Kalamazoo Mortgage

Former JPMorgan Chase VP William Carr is now overseeing business growth at Kalamazoo Mortgage (KM), the Michigan-based firm announced.

As KM's new national director of business development, Carr is stepping into his role as the relative newcomer to the mortgage game prepares to expand in Central Michigan, Detroit, Chicago, and North Texas.

Moving forward with KM, Carr's goal is to "facilitate growth and ensure service levels continue to set the industry standard," the company said.

"We're going to do this the right way, the responsible way, the only way I know how," Carr said.

An executive leader with 20 years of industry experience, Carr has a proven track record for leading organizations, fostering relationships, and creating new services and efficiencies to assist real estate agents. At Chase, he worked directly with agents and asset management companies to build relationships across the country as national distressed properties manager and VP.
