WFG’s Kelly Elected to New York Title Insurance Rate Board

The New York Title Insurance Rate Service Association (TIRSA) has elected Michael Kelly of WFG National Title Insurance Company to serve as VP of the board, the company announced.

Kelly, who serves WFG National Title as VP and state counsel in New York, was elected in late June. He is joined on TIRSA's board by other representatives of the title insurance community, including Marvin Bagwell (president), John Martinico (alternate VP), Jonathan Richards (treasurer), and Felice Shapiro (secretary).

Together, the board members are charged with working in partnership with New York's Department of Financial Services to maintain title insurance rates in the state.

They will also work to develop, maintain, and amend the Title Insurance Rate Manual for New York and submit for approval any proposed changes.
