MVB Financial Credits Lending Division for Q2 Success

MVB Financial Corp. and its bank holding company MVB Bank, Inc., have announced a second-quarter earnings boost of 28.4 percent year-over-year, and the company says its mortgage unit should receive much of the credit for the positive quarterly results. Though the United Kingdom is currently in the spotlight as host for the 2012 Olympic Games, British lenders have their own reason to celebrate this summer, following the release of a study that shows a significant uptick in first-time homebuyers.
