The Week Ahead: Bank of America Q4 Results

 

Bank of America will report its fourth-quarter 2017 financial results on Wednesday, January 17  at around 6:45 a.m. EST, followed by an investor presentation at 8:30 a.m. EST. The bank had declared an income of $5.6 billion in the third quarter, while its earnings per share (EPS) had gone up 17 percent driven by strong operating leverage and solid asset quality. In Q3, the bank’s net revenue increased 1 percent to $21.8 billion from $21.6 billion.

Also on Wednesday, the National Association of Home Builders will release its Housing Market Index Report at 10 a.m. EST. Hear Charles Evans and Robert Kaplan Federal Reserve Bank Presidents of Chicago and Dallas respectively participate in a discussion at the American Council of Life Insurers Executive Roundtable in Florida at 3 p.m. EST. Cleveland’s Federal Reserve Bank President, Loretta Mester, will speak on monetary policy communications at the Tangri Lecture at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey at 4 p.m. EST.

On Thursday, 8:30 a.m. EST, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its Housing Starts survey that provides an overview of the commitment of builders to new construction activity.
