Eye on the Industry: Freddie Mac’s New CIO

Freddie Mac [1] announced that Frank Nazzaro has been named EVP and Chief Information Officer. He is a member of the senior operating committee and reports directly to CEO David Brickman.

Nazzaro, who joined Freddie Mac in 2018 as the Chief Technology Officer and has been Acting CIO since May 2019, brings more than 20 years’ executive experience in technology and financial services to the company. As CIO, he will head the Information Technology division and provide corporate-wide leadership for the company’s technology strategy, including the employee technology experience.

Quicken Loans Mortgage Services [2]announced the promotion of Paul Yatooma to the newly created position of VP of Sales.

Yatooma will have the opportunity to work alongside Quicken Loans’ partners to better understand their opportunities and challenges. Using this information, Yatooma will work closely with Quicken Loans Mortgage Services' banking, operations and technology teams to ensure the company continues to deliver products and innovations that meet the actual, real-world needs of the company's broker partners.

Nationwide Title Clearing has donated $25k sponsorship for Live Auction to Carrington Charitable Foundation’s 9th annual Golf Classic auction. The proceeds of the auction will go towards helping wounded Veterans who have served our country. NTC has attended the annual Carrington Charitable Foundation’s Golf Classic in previous years as guests and donated a custom Triumph motorcycle valued at $25,000 to Carrington. 

Charitable Foundation’s annual Golf Classic auction last year. This year, NTC wanted to donate a $25k sponsorship toward a package for four to the 2020 Ryder Cup.

“I have always been taught and have learned that giving back to charities and helping elevate people in need are two very important parts of life,” said CEO, John Hillman. “We are honored to support the Carrington Charitable Foundation&s work in helping Veterans and their families.
