Mitch Oringer
Houston, Texas-based Selene Finance [1] recently announced the addition of Mitch Oringer to the position of SVP of REO and Valuations. Oringer has considerable experience in overseeing the acquisition and servicing of non-performing loans with a focus on REO disposition, portfolio management, and loss mitigation.
Diane Boswer, EVP of Special Servicing, elaborated on Oringer's vision to expand Selene's REO division. “Mitch’s extensive experience will not only bring a fresh outlook and strategy for our growing REO business, but skilled leadership to foster the talented team we have here,” she said.
Oringer was most recently employed by Auction.com, where he was the VP of residential operations and was tasked with increasing the bidding activity on the site to facilitate the sale of REO properties. He has also held various management positions at Shelving Rock Partners, The National Group, and GMAC Rescap.
“Selene is well-regarded in the industry and has a strong foundation of success in the REO space,” Oringer stated. “I’m excited to hit the ground running and further strengthen the relationship between the company and its clients.”
