Caliber Adds to Leadership Team with VP Appointments

In Texas, Caliber Home Loans, Inc., announced two new additions in the last week: John Bianchi as EVP of national retail lending and Linda Steiner as regional VP of wholesale.

Possessing 23 years of mortgage banking experience, Bianchi has a number of production awards to his name. He most recently served as divisional sales executive for Bank of America, having moved quickly up the executive ranks.

As EVP for Caliber, his leadership will be instrumental to the future expansion of the company’s retail sales footprint.

“John is a dynamic leader with a keen understanding of how to support top performers in overcoming today’s mortgage challenges,” said Caliber CEO Joe Anderson. “His ability to related to parties ranging from originators to branch managers gives John a unique perspective on how to direct the retail sales force to grow their business.”

For his part, Bianchi said he is excited to join Caliber “at a time when the business is expanding its expertise through key hires and executing on its growth strategy.”

“Caliber has a proven leadership team, an inventive vision for future growth and a track record of excellence,” he said. “I look forward to working with the strong and talented team at Caliber and to contributing to the Company’s ongoing success in this pivotal time in the mortgage industry’s history.”

Meanwhile, Steiner will take over in leading and increasing production in the Northern California Bay Area.

Steiner’s 33-year work history includes positions at MetLife Home Loans, CitiMortgage, and SunTrust Bank, where she managed top producing account executives, achieving top branch production and performance. She was also responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that increased production volume from $35 million to $130 million per month.
