Parkside Lending Expands With Three New Hires

Dolton-Spira w captionSan Francisco-based national wholesale and correspondent lender Parkside Lending has added industry veterans to the positions of general counsel, chief compliance officer, and closing manager to its team in order to manage the rapidly growing business.

“We are privileged to expand our Parkside Lending management team with such outstanding talent that will allow us to continue our successful growth nationally,” Parkside Lending CEO Matthew Ostrander said.

Gail Dolton has joined Parkside Lending as general counsel and a member of the Parkside executive team. She has more than 20 years of industry Krueger w captionexperience, which includes roles as general counsel with BondDesk Group, Rex & Co., and several real estate and consumer lending divisions of Transamerica Corporation. Dolton has a bachelor's degree in economics from University of California at Davis and a Juris Doctor from Boalt-Hall School of Law at University of California at Berkeley. In her role as general counsel with Parkside, she will be responsible for managing all of the company's legal affairs, including corporate governance, contracts, and intellectual property. She will work closely with Parkside's compliance, audit, and vendor management functions.

Laurie Spira will be Parkside's new chief compliance officer. Her 16 years of experience in the industry include policies and procedures, project management, risk management, and compliance for a variety of lenders. She most recently served as chief compliance officer for mortgage technology solutions provider DocMagic. She has a bachelor's in English from California State University at Long Beach. As chief compliance officer for Parkside, Spira will be responsible for managing the company's compliance management system and ensuring its integration into the overall framework for product design, delivery, and administration.

Jo-Ann Krueger will be the new closing manager for Parkside with 30 years of experience in retail, wholesale, and correspondent lending. Her experience includes work in processing, underwriting, compliance, and closing management. As Parkside's closing manager, she will be responsible for managing closings and funding personnel as well as Parkside's Lisle, Illinois, office.
