Mortgage Capital Trading Hires New Northeast Regional Sales Director

MortgageCapital_KrausseMortgage Capital Trading, Inc., a risk management and advisory services firm focused the secondary mortgage market, announced last week it hired Cara Krause to serve as Regional Sales Director for the Northeast.

“We are pleased to welcome Cara to the MCT team,” said Bill Wooten, Managing Director at Mortgage Capital Trading. “Cara has an excellent reputation and long-standing track record of developing strong relationships with lenders of all types, adding depth to our sales efforts in the Northeast.”

Krause brings more than 25 years of experience in mortgage banking to her new role.

Prior to joining Mortgage Capital Trading, she helped develop lender relationships and helped grow Impac Mortgae’s correspondent business channel. She also served as VP and regional account manager at Envoy Mortgage.

Throughout her career, Krause has also held positions at First Horizon Home Loans, Fleet Bank Boston/Washington Mutual, Carteret Savings Bank, and other lenders and banks.

Kraus “has a proven track record of expanding territories, increasing revenue, and providing hands-on customer service,” according to Mortgage Capital Trading.

Based in San Diego, Mortgage Capital Trading provides independent analysis, training, hedging strategy, and loan sale execution to clients in the secondary mortgage market.
