Tyneia Merritt Joins Council for Inclusion in Financial Services Board

Tyneia MerrittTyneia (Tye) Merritt, a managing partner at Marinosci Law Group, P.C. [1], in California, has joined the board of the Council for Inclusion in Financial Services [2].

Merritt has 10 years of experience in the default servicing industry, specializing in foreclosures and evictions with extensive experience in handling REO properties in rent control and just cause areas.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and graduated with honors from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.

Merritt holds memberships in the Southern California Minority Business Council and the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association.

She works out of the California branch of Marinosci Law Group, which offers default services, including bankruptcy, eviction, foreclosure, deeds in lieu, general litigation, loan workouts, loss mitigation, REO, and title services in 13 states.

Marinosci Law Group is a member of the Legal League 100 [3].

The Council for Inclusion in Financial Services was founded by Cheryl Johnson, COO and EVP of VRM Mortgage Services [4]. The council’s stated goal is “to help the financial services industry develop and sustain an inclusive workforce” and to address Section-342 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
