PlainsCapital Bank Appoints EVP of National Warehouse Lending

Dallas, Texas-based PlainsCapital Bank has announced the appointment of Deric Barnett as Executive Vice President of the bank’s National Warehouse Lending Division.

In his position as EVP with PlainsCapital Bank, Barnett will be responsible for the growth, development, and long-term success of the bank’s warehouse lending platform.

Barnett’s experience in residential lending, which spans more than a decade, includes holding leadership positions with Texas Capital Bank, where he served as VP Product Development, developing product and program content for that bank’s Correspondent Lending Division; and Prime Lending, where he served as Product Development and Investor Relations Director, developing mortgage lending products and executions.

“‘Coming home’ to the PlainsCapital Bank family, I have been challenged to lead the growth and success of a National Warehouse Lending platform,” Barnett said. “We will achieve our success with professionals that provide the level of service and expertise that is expected from PlainsCapital Bank, with a strategic vision to identify and establish compatible partnerships that will expand market share and growth while maintaining the culture, integrity and enduring relationships that is part of the PlainsCapital Bank mission.”
