Otting, Quarles Nominations to go to Full Senate Vote

white houseThe Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs held a vote to push Joseph Otting, nominated to be Comptroller of the Currency, and Randal Quarles, nominated to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, to a full Senate confirmation. Both men were approved by the committee. Joseph Otting was approved by a vote of 13-10, and Randal Quarles was approved by a vote of 17-6.

The full Senate confirmation vote has not been scheduled at time of press.
