AmCap Mortgage Appoints New COO

AmCap Mortgage ^[1], a national mortgage banker headquartered in Houston, Texas, has announced the appointment of its new COO Michael Goldman. 

Goldman will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of AmCap Mortgage as it grows loan volume and expands to additional areas of the country. AmCap currently has about 800 employees, services its own loans and expects to fund about $3 billion in residential mortgages in 2017.  The company made news recently when it brought renowned mortgage industry figure A.W. Pickel, III aboard as president of its newly formed Midwest Division.

With a career that spans 20 years, he started as a loan officer in San Antonio and rose through the ranks to branch management and regional management roles in his home state of Texas. Goldman earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

Mike Johnson, President of AmCap, expressed his approval of Goldman’s appointment and looks forward to the future of the company.
