Winer will be reporting to ARC's top executives, CEO, Nicholas S. Schorsch, and the entity's president, Bill Kahane. Previously the head of pricing, hedging, and execution for commercial securitized real estate debt for ""Credit Suisse"":www.credit-suisse.com/us/, Winer boasts more than 20 years in commercial real estate finance.

ARC outlined Winer's responsibilities for the organization in a company statement, noting that he will be advising all affiliates and subsidiaries regarding debt capital markets, in addition to arranging corporate credit lines and other loan options for each of ARC's investment initiatives.

Winer's position encompasses ARC's business development company, ""Business Development Corporation of America"":www.bdcofamerica.com/. Business Development Corporation of America, along with its NASDAQ-listed company, ""American Realty Capital Properties"":www.americanrealtycap.com/, collaborates actively with multiple ratings agencies on securing corporate credit ratings for the all ARC-related companies, and it also designs investment strategies for commercial debt and structured debt products.

Kahane said of Winer's hiring, ""I am delighted that we have again significantly augmented the intellectual capital of our organization by adding Andrew Winer to our senior management team. As we continue to grow ARC's advisory responsibilities across a wider array of investment vehicles and platforms, it is vital that we remain 'best-in-class' with regard to all of our capital market activities. Andrew brings with him an extensive background in real estate debt capital markets, enabling us to manage risk and improve performance of all of our REITs.

Continuing his commentary, Kahane elaborated on Winer's position, stating, ""Andrew will work closely with Boris Korotkin, our vice president of real estate finance, on all REIT financings. Our ability to attract experienced and well regarded professionals like Mr. Winer is further testimony to our success.""

Peter Budko, CEO of Business Development Corporation of America, also added his thoughts on Winer's new role, saying, ""Andrew will prove a strong complement to our senior management team, bringing with him many years of debt capital markets experience. He should help generate investment opportunities based on his relationships on the Street, as well as assisting in the origination, analysis, underwriting and structuring of middle market loans.""
