GFWM Announces Appointment of Chief Technology Officer

(GFWM)"":http://www.genworthwealth.com/, is welcoming a new member to its senior leadership team. The company recently announced the hiring of James Hanna as GFWM's chief technology officer.

With more than two decades of experience in the industry, Hanna joined GFWM from his previous role as EVP and chief technology officer for Bank of the West.

Hanna has also spent time in senior positions for ""Fidelity Information Services"":www.fisglobal.com/ and Alltel Information Services.

Hanna will be responsible for continuing the development of GFWM's client experience for financial advisors using the company's platform, and he will also support the firm in continuing to deliver innovative solutions that assist advisors and their clients. As chief technology officer, Hanna will report to GFWM's SVP, chief operations officer, and president of mutual funds, Carrie Hansen.
