Three New Partners Added at Cadawalader

Adding to its legal lineup, ""Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP"":www.cadwalader.com/ has announced the promotion of three new partners. The law firm revealed recently that Joseph Bial, Andrew Forman, and Peter Isajiw were made partners at Cadawalader as of January 1.

Joining Cadawalader's antitrust division, Bial has previously acted as the principal senior attorney on numerous litigation proceedings for the firm, and he has developed a strong record defending companies against alleged price-fixing during several antitrust-related class action lawsuits. Bial is also active in

foreign markets, and he has counseled clients throughout Asia regarding competition-related issues.

Forman will work alongside Bial as partner within Cadawalader's antirust division, and he was touted in a company statement as having ""taken a leadership role in├âÔÇÜ├é┬ámany of the antitrust group's most significant├âÔÇÜ├é┬ámatters over the last several years."" Both Bial and Forman will be based in Washington, D.C.

Isajiw will serve as a partner in the firm's litigation division, and his background with Cadawalader includes work on complex securities, commercial cases, and criminal and regulatory investigations. Isajiw is responsible for Cadawalader's participation in a successful pro bono case that resulted in overturning North Carolina's law prohibiting cohabitation.

Cadawalader's chairman, W. Christopher White, said of the firm's three new partners, ""We are pleased to recognize the accomplishments of these outstanding attorneys by welcoming them into our Partnership.
