Other career highlights for McDermott include his performance as an advisor to institutions such as the United States Postal Service and many regional banks. Additionally, McDermott has previously been the co-founder of two different internet-based startup companies.
In his position with Avison Young, McDermott will be responsible for assisting the company as it expands into Los Angeles and Southern California.
