The MarketShare reports, which are released the last Wednesday of each month, rank lenders throughout New England.

""Working with the best loan originators and back office in the business has allowed us to grow our market share,"" said Philip DeFronzo, owner of Norcom Mortgage.

""Our employees' goal is to provide top quality service while making the mortgage process as simple as possible,"" DeFonzo added.

He attributes his company's success to its ""experienced loan originators, strong underwriting, and excellent customer service,"" according to a press release from the company.

While refinances have taken much of the focus in the originations sector lately, DeFronzo said the refinance sector is undergoing changes, and he takes pride in Norcom's activity in the purchase sector.

DeFronzo founded Norcom in 1989 and served on the State of Connecticut Ethics Commission from 1991 to 1998.
