Provident Adds New Consumer Markets Leader

The financial institution recently announced that Colleen Sousa as been added as Provident's consumer market leader for its northern and central regions.

In a company statement, Provident noted that Sousa's hiring is part of the ongoing implementation of the company's leadership

strategy. Sousa boasts more than two decades in the industry, and in her new role for Provident, she will be responsible for overall management and profitability of Provident's financial centers in both geographical areas.

Prior to joining Provident, Sousa was the district retail leader for ""Key Bank"":https://www.key.com/. Other career highlights include Sousa's stints at ""JP Morgan Chase"":https://www.chase.com/ and ""Commerce Bank"":www.commercebank.com/.

Central region market president for Provident, Jim Peoples, said of Sousa, ""With her many years of leadership experience in banking, Colleen is a valuable addition to the Provident Bank team. She brings to the Bank an impressive record of success in the retail delivery arena.""

Echoing Peoples' positive statements, northern region president, Rick Jones, added, ""We are pleased that Coleen is taking on the management of the Financial Centers. Her wealth of experience will help us develop new opportunities for growth and help take Provident Bank to the next level.""

Based in Montebello, New York, Provident has more than $3.1 billion in assets. The bank specializes in the delivery of service and solutions to business owners, their families, and consumers.
