The Mortgage Center, which does business under the name ""Credence Mortgage,"" has been a thriving segment of GMH's business since 2010, posting double-digit same-store revenue growth from 2011 to 2012.

""With the regional success we attained over the past couple of years in the retail call center space, we knew that, to exceed expectations of a nationwide consumer base, we would need a proven leader in the industry to [COLUMN_BREAK]

ensure success,"" said GMH CEO Joseph Macchione. ""Scott not only fits the best in class cultural dynamic we are building at GMH, he also provides 'out of the box' thinking to what is generally perceived as a plain vanilla business model.""

Medrow has more than 20 years' experience in the mortgage industry and most recently worked at GMAC Mortgage, where he was SVP and chief administration officer. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in organically building the retail sales division from zero to more than 150 loan officers. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with Chase Home Finance in several management and origination positions.

According to Macchione, Medrow's first order of business is to begin recruiting, developing, and training a dedicated team in targeted markets around the country while also implementing new procedures and sales efficiencies through technology.

""When Joe and I first discussed the opportunity, what intrigued me most was GMH's desire to think bigger than simply building a typical call center origination platform,"" Medrow said. ""GMH's commitment to match a concierge level of customer service with a purchase-oriented presence and connectivity to the retail origination platform is our key driver to success.""
