AREAA Announces New Chair-Elect for Directorship

The ""Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA)"":http://www.areaa.org/ has named Ivan Choi as its chair-elect. Choi will assume the leadership post following the AREAA's national convention in September, where he will be officially installed as the organization's chairman of the board.

Currently, Choi serves as the senior vice president of Virginia-based ""Matt Martin Real Estate Management (MMREM)"":http://www.mmrem.com/. Choi also boasts prior directorship experience, having previously been a member of the board for ""REOMAC"":http://www.reomac.com/.

""We're proud that Ivan was chosen to lead an organization as vital as AREAA,"" said Matt Martin, founder and CEO of MMREM. ""The importance of the Asian American community and their rich contributions to the American business culture cannot be over-emphasized.""

Choi added his commentary, noting, ""AREAA provides a powerful voice for real estate professionals who represent the rapidly growing Asian American community. I'm pleased to have the opportunity serve as the head of this influential trade association.
