FirstREX Recruits Two New Hires to Grow Funding Program

As director of operations, Shewmaker will oversee day-to-day operations of the REX HomeBuyer program. He has more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, having served in management positions at Bank [COLUMN_BREAK]

of America, Wells Fargo, and Deutsche Bank. In his most recent position, he served as bank operations executive at Pacific Capital Bancorp.

McGuire has taken the role of sales director and will be responsible for introducing and expanding REX HomeBuyer into new markets. He has an extensive background in mortgage banking, having built McGuire Mortgage Company into one of the largest home equity lenders in the Midwest. He also founded 1-800-One-Loan and OneLoan.com, two early pioneers in online mortgage originations.
