New Director for MuniMae

A new director is taking over at ""Municipal Mortgage & Equity"":http://www.munimae.com/index.html, LLC. Frederick W. Puddester was recently announced as the company's new director and was also appointed to its audit committee.

Joining MuniMae in his official capacity on August 10, Puddester brings with him more than 20 years of experience in financial services, having most recently served as the vice president for finance and administration at ""Williams College"":http://www.williams.edu/.

Additionally, Puddester has worked for ""Johns Hopkins University"":http://www.jhu.edu/, and the wide range of his responsibilities prior to joining MuniMae encompassed budgeting, financial planning, financial reporting, funding development, and fiscal forecasting.

Puddester has been a board member of MuniMae TE Bond Subsidiary, LLC - a company subsidiary - making his selection as director even more beneficial to MuniMae. Commenting on Puddester's appointment, Mary K. Joseph, chariman of the board for MuniMae, said, ""We are extremely pleased to have Fred join MuniMae's board. We are excited about the wealth of financial, functional and operational experience he brings to the table and are confident that Fred will be an immediate, valuable and contributing member of our Board.""

Puddester joins other recent hires within MuniMae, including the company's new chief financial officer, Lisa Roberts, who took over following the resignation of David Kay. The Maryland-based company specializes is meeting diverse real estate needs in the tax-exempt bond sector for the multi-family housing segment.
