J.K. Rowling Lists Edinburgh Estate for $3.7M

Billionaire author J.K. Rowling, writer of the _Harry_ _Potter_ series, has listed her Scottish mansion for $3.7 million. Currently, Rowling owns two estates in Edinburgh, and the home that she's placed on the market is an historic, 18th-century Victorian property.

Boasting eight bedrooms, luxurious gardens, and generous privacy features, the ""Huffington Post"":http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/21/jk-rowling-former-home-i_n_1903271.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000003 reported that Rowling's home is described as ""an exceptional detached family house standing within a large yet discreet landscaped and walled garden.""
