Erin Hill was charged in 2011 with two counts of making a false statement to obtain property or credit and one count of securing execution of a document by deception, the report said. She and her husband allegedly obtained a loan for more than $200,000 in 2009 by claiming to be the sole owners of a home in Highland Park, located north of the center of Dallas. They also allegedly falsified his income and her assets.

The $1.9 million home was actually listed by the county tax assessor as being 80 percent owned by the Albert Hill Trust, whose beneficiary is Albert Hill III's father.

The couple moved out of Highland Park in 2011, going to Atlanta, Georgia, where Erin Hill was crowned Miss Georgia in 1993 (as Erin Nance, her maiden name).

In a statement, the Hills commended the district attorney's office ""on the investigation that led to these dismissals"" and said they ""look forward to continuing to work with the DA's office to resolve the entire case, including the charges against Albert Hill III.""
