Park Avenue Pad with Famous Past Lists for $20M

When famed news anchor and _60_ _Minutes_ star Mike Wallace passed away earlier this year, the nation mourned the loss of the media legend. However, Wallace's many fans recently got the opportunity to learn more about his life off camera, when his Manhattan duplex hit the open market for a lofty $20 million earlier this month.

""According to Zillow"":http://www.zillow.com/blog/2012-10-17/mike-wallaces-central-park-apt-listed-for-20m/, the death of Wallace's widow, Mary, in September, prompted the sale of the couple's well-appointed Park Avenue condominium. Boasting features rarely found in Manhattan residences, such as high ceilings and multiple terraces, painstaking efforts to preserve the apartment's prewar history make the property appealing--and more costly. The _New_ _York_ _Times_ estimates that monthly maintenance on Wallace's former abode is nearly $9,000.
