New CEO, Chairman of the Board for SISCO

""Stewart Information Services Corp."":www.stewart.com/ (SISCO) is shaking up its corporate leadership, with the recent announcement that Matthew W. Morris will take over as the company's CEO. Replacing his father, Malcolm S. Morris, and his cousin, Stewart Morris, Jr., as co-CEOs for the entity, Matt is being promoted from an executive role within SISCO.

In his new position, Matthew will be responsible for all operations, and he is well prepared for the role thanks to his experience performing as an executive for SISCO since 2004. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Matthew functioned as the senior executive vice president for SISCO, ""Stewart Title Company"":www.stewart.com/, and ""Stewart Guaranty Company"":www.stewart.com/.

Malcolm and Stewart will move on to become vice chairmen of the board for SISCO following Matthew's ascension to CEO, and additionally, the company is gaining a new chairman of the board in Dr. Edward Douglas Hodo. A member of the SISCO board of directors since 1988, Dr. Hodo has functioned as its lead director since 2004.

Commenting on the executive changes at SISCO, Malcolm noted, ""This change in SISCO's management simplifies and strengthens the company's organizational structure and will facilitate continuing improvement in our company's profitability by streamlining daily operations and enhancing the focus on our core businesses.""

Echoing his positive sentiments, Stewart added, ""Matt Morris is the natural choice to move the company forward. Not only does he have the management expertise and leadership skills, his industry knowledge and accomplishments within the company give him a unique ability to lead Stewart and enhance shareholder value.""

Matthew, a graduate of the University of Texas' MBA program, said of his updated role, ""I am honored to have the opportunity to build on the traditions and values of the company, which have served us so well throughout our history. As we move forward, we'll collectively focus on enhancing growth and financial performance while preserving our culture of integrity and service to our customers.""
