Prospect Mortgage Taps Veteran Talent for Leadership Role

Amy Brandt was selected as president of correspondent lending and servicing. In her new role, Brandt will help build Prospect's national correspondent lending platform and develop its loan servicing potential.

""Amy knows how to build a successful business. She will play a critical role in guiding the strategy for the implementation and growth of these important segments of our business,"" Prospect CEO Ron Bergum said in a release.

Brandt led growth and development in other executive positions for financial services firms.

Most recently, she served as CEO of Vantium Capital, Inc., which she formed in 2007 with Apollo L.P. Brandt was also CEO and president of WMC Mortgage, where she oversaw the growth of loan originations to more than $3 billion per month and led the company through its sale to GE Money.

Brandt earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and received a law degree from Arizona State University.
