Former Home of Motown Legend Lists for $3.799M

Los Angeles' homebuyers have a chance to own a piece of Motown history. Located on Outpost Drive, the Hollywood Hills home once belonging to artist Marvin Gaye has been listed for $3.799 million.

Reporting on the property's storied past, ""Zillow noted"":http://www.zillow.com/blog/2012-11-13/4-years-after-ex-wife-sold-marvin-gayes-former-home-hits-market-again/ that the 1.5-acre estate also played home to a 2008 scandal for the Gaye family, with Marvin's ex-wife Anna Gordy Gaye moving to evict their adopted son from the residence. Following the eviction proceedings, Anna sold the 3,500-square-foot house for $1.91 million that same year, and the recent listing marks the first time the abode has been back on the market. Zillow added that the four-bedroom, five-bathroom estate includes a lavish swimming pool, waterfall, and adjacent land for development.
