The ""Federal Home Loan Bank"":http://www.fhlbsf.com/ (FHLB) of San Francisco has elected ""Pacific Premier Bancorp"":https://www.ppbi.com/ CEO Steven R. Gardner to its board of directors.
[IMAGE] [COLUMN_BREAK]Gardner was voted in by FHLB San Francisco's member institutions, which include commercial banks, credit unions, industrial loan companies, and saving institutions across California, Nevada, and Arizona. He will serve a four-year term beginning January 1, 2014.
In addition to serving as president and CEO of Pacific Premier Bancorp since 2000, Gardner has held a number of leadership positions within financial services agencies and associations, working as president and chairman of the California Independent Bankers, corporate secretary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, and vice chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Twelfth District Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.
He has also served in various management positions in credit administration, portfolio management, lending production, operations, and risk management over the past 23 years.
