OCC Appoints Deputy Comptroller for Large Bank Supervision

Molly Scherf has been named to oversee large bank supervision at the ""Office of the Comptroller of the Currency"":http://www.occ.gov/index.html (OCC), the agency announced.

As deputy comptroller of large bank supervision, Scherf will manage and oversee the large bank lead experts, shared national credit, data analytics, and systems teams as well as assume various other responsibilities.

Her new role will also see her working with policy, midsize and community bank supervision, and legal departments within OCC.

Scherf brings 23 years of bank supervision experience to her post, having supervised institutions with assets ranging from $50 million to $2 trillion. She most recently served as large bank lead expert for governance and enterprise risk management.
