HUD Housing Exec Joins Centennial Mortgage Team

""Centennial Mortgage, Inc."":http://www.centennialfhaloans.com/index.html (CMI), an Indiana-based mortgage bank providing funding through HUD- and U.S. Department of Agriculture-insured loan programs, added one of HUD's own to its staff. Reneé Greenman, formerly the agency's Seattle Multifamily Hub Director, joined the company as managing director.

Working for HUD, Greenman, streamlined the Federal Housing Administration's (FHA) program delivery in an effort to preserve and increase affordable housing in Northwest markets. She also oversaw a portfolio of 1,225 properties involving more than $240 million in annual subsidy payments with a total mortgage obligation of more than $3 billion.

She also earned praise for the focus she brought to continuous improvement strategies at HUD, including her pioneering of a ""lean"" management style designed to reduce waste and increase productivity.

""Ms. Greenman possesses exceptional talent and proven expertise,"" said CMI president Matthew Kane. ""Having known her for many years and witnessed her tremendous work in the industry first-hand, I have immense respect for her leadership and achievements at HUD. Her Lean Initiative Redesign of HUD's Section 232 program was an outstanding success, increasing loan production by 300 percent.
