Burke, a senior executive and director at ""KeyBank Real Estate Capital and Corporate Banking Services"":https://www.key.com/html/real-estate-investment-banking.html, as its vice-chair.

Burke arrives at his new position with several years of relevant business experience. At KeyBank, he also served as head of real estate capital markets, presiding over its commercial mortgage division as managing director.
He also co-founded National Realty Funding in 1997, headed up the commercial funding division for Midland Loan Services, LP, and served as SVP at the Merchants Bank. He holds degrees from Harvard Business School, Oklahoma City University, and Boston College.

No outsider to the MBA, Burke previously served the association as chair of its Investors Council, Risk-Retention Task Force, and Commercial Real Estate and Multifamily Finance Board of Governors.
He will receive election to his new position by attendees who vote at the association's annual convention in October.
MBA is a national association that represents the real estate finance industry.
