National Law Firm Adds New Face to the Payrolls

As senior counsel, McClendon will head up the practice's area of responsibility for class-action lawsuits, business and commercial litigation, and financial institution litigation.

She will go to bat for mortgage bankers, auto finance companies, and an array of other financial institutions fraught with the likes of statutory violations, unfair practices, and fraud.

She arrives at the firm with several years of credible experience, ascending to her new top spot as a member of the editorial board of advisors for the _Consumer Financial Services Law Report_, a current legal news publication for the financial services industry.

The new senior counsel also holds a law degree from the ""University of California"":http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/ and a B.A. from the ""University of Texas"":http://www.utexas.edu/.
