Chris NegriLongtime housing finance veteran Chris Negri has joined Washington, D.C.-based business advisory firm The Collingwood Group as Senior Vice President, according to an announcement from Collingwood.

"We are big believers that the company you keep has a big impact on your choices and business results. Adding someone of Chris’ caliber is what our clients have come to expect. Investments like this are critical to the mutual success of clients, policy makers, and our firm," Collingwood Chairman Tim Rood said. "Chris’ 30 years in housing finance coupled with his vast network of origination, servicing and securitization executive leaders make him an excellent addition to the Collingwood team."

"I hope to give our clients the confidence and certainty the need to take responsible risks and better serve their customers in this ambiguous and challenging regulatory environment."

Negri worked in business development and client management roles for the Promotory Financial Group prior to joining Collingwood. His work with Promotory was centered on organic growth and expanding the firm's client base.

"The Collingwood Group’s reputation and standing in the areas of regulatory compliance and risk management in the housing finance sector is unparalleled. I hope to give our clients the confidence and certainty the need to take responsible risks and better serve their customers in this ambiguous and challenging regulatory environment," Negri said. "I am flattered to be joining a team with so much depth and talent and look forward to helping clients navigate and thrive in this environment."
