Collingwood Group Adds Housing Finance Veteran as SVP

Chris NegriLongtime housing finance veteran Chris Negri has joined Washington, D.C.-based business advisory firm The Collingwood Group as Senior Vice President, according to an announcement from Collingwood.

In his new role as SVP at Collingwood, Negri's duties will include managing critical customer relationships as they cope with franchise-risking regulatory and compliance demands in the new challenging regulatory environment.

"We are big believers that the company you keep has a big impact on your choices and business results. Adding someone of Chris’ caliber is what our clients have come to expect. Investments like this are critical to the mutual success of clients, policy makers, and our firm," Collingwood Chairman Tim Rood said. "Chris’ 30 years in housing finance coupled with his vast network of origination, servicing and securitization executive leaders make him an excellent addition to the Collingwood team."

Negri worked in business development and client management roles for the Promotory Financial Group prior to joining Collingwood. His work with Promotory was centered on organic growth and expanding the firm's client base.
