Capsilon Appoints Chief Technology Officer

Capsilon, a provider of cloud-based document management solutions for mortgage lenders and investors, introduced its new chief technology officer (CTO), naming V.J. Anand to the position.

Anand has more than a decade of experience in the computer industry, specializing in software-as-a-service (SaaS), data management, and mobile solutions.

Before joining Capsilon, Anand served as CTO for a real-time marketing analytics firm that he helped found. He also previously served as CTO at Lyris, a global SaaS provider in email and digital marketing solutions.

Sanjeev Malaney, CEO of Capsilon, said Anand's addition to the team comes at a crucial time as lenders seek out innovation to give themselves a competitive edge.

"V.J. brings deep experience in SaaS platforms, big data, and mobile solutions to Capsilon, experience that will be critical as we continue to bring innovative solutions to the mortgage industry," Malaney said.

For his part, Anand said he is excited to take on the role.

"The pace of innovation at Capsilon is remarkable, and our Capsilon DocVelocity platform provides lenders the capabilities they need to optimize operations, increase productivity and reduce costs with every loan," he said. "I'm thrilled to be leading such a talented team that continues to bring innovation to the mortgage industry."
