Thomas R. Nides will join the executive team at Wells Fargo, bringing experience as U.S. Deputy Secretary of State and COO of the U.S. State Department under the Obama Administration to his new role.

Overseeing a team of approximately 3,700, 28-plus-year industry veteran tapped to head up the company’s Home Lending’s Distributed Sales team.

Wells Fargo & Company recently announced that Timothy J. Sloan will now serve as President and COO, reporting to Chairman and CEO John G. Stumpf. Sloan has been with Wells Fargo for 28 years, and since 2014, he has served at the head of Wholesale Banking—a role he will remain in. Prior to this position, he was Wells Fargo's CFO from 2011 to 2014.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals recently revived three lawsuits the were brought about by the City of Miami, accusing Wells Fargo & Co, Bank of America Corp., and Citigroup of discriminatory and predatory mortgage lending practices to minority borrowers.

Wells Fargo & Company recently announced that Hope Hardison, who leads Human Resources for the company, will become Chief Administrative Officer, effective August 31, 2015. She will succeed newly retired Pat Callahan, who has been with the company for 38 years.
