MCS Appoints VP, Assistant VP for Operations Center

NewMortgage Contracting Services [1] (MCS), a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections, and maintenance for the financial services industry, announced the respective appointments of Jeff Thompson and Dan Hoeh as VP and assistant VP of operations for its facility in Ruston, Louisiana.

Thompson joins MCS from 21st Mortgage Corporation in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he served as senior credit manager. In his new role, he will oversee the Ruston center's client service team, recruiting, training, and community relations. He has a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Louisiana Tech University.

"Not only does Jeff bring us 20 years of industry experience, but we are also excited to provide an opportunity to a Lincoln Parish native and Louisiana Tech graduate to lead our Ruston team," said Caroline Reaves, CEO of MCS. "As we grow our Ruston division, we need someone with his skill set and experience, but also a love of Ruston and the incredible people who live and work here."

Aiding Thompson is Hoeh, who will be responsible for monitoring team productivity and working to increase operating efficiency and quality.

Hoeh joined the company in 2008, serving in a number of positions since then, including asset preservation coordinator, data and reporting analyst, training lead, supervisor of operations, and manager of operations.

"Dan has always shown a tremendous team spirit and a dedication to excellent client service," Reaves said.

For his part, Thompson said he is "thrilled" to be both working for the company and living in Ruston.

"This is an exciting time for our industry, and MCS is poised to grow and take advantage of all the opportunities presented by the changes we're collectively going through," he said.
