Hamilton Group Funding Appoints VP for Midwest

Hamilton Group Funding, a privately held mortgage banking firm with headquarters in Florida, announced the hiring of Eduardo Paras as regional VP as the company continues its expansion efforts. Working out of Chicago, Paras' responsibility is to further the development of Hamilton's grown in the region.

A 20-year mortgage veteran, Paras joins Hamilton from Citibank, where he served as VP and senior lending manager. His experience in the industry includes work as a branch manager, an owner, a sales manager, and as a loan officer, which saw him ranking in the top 1 percent in closed loan volume at two different lenders.

In his new role, Paras reports to Ross Bennett, SVP of production at Hamilton, who said, "We see a tremendous opportunity to greatly expand our national lending platform. Eduardo brings his expertise to successfully build our brand into new markets across the United States."

"I am excited to join Hamilton Group Funding," Paras said. "[T]hey have a solid reputation of providing competitive home mortgages across the country, and it is my intent to extend that reputation throughout the Midwest."
