ALFN Director Elected to Second Term

The American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) announced that Michael J. McCormick, Esq., has been re-elected to its board of directors for a second term.

McCormick currently serves as a managing partner for the bankruptcy department at McCalla Raymer, a position that has him overseeing a dozen bankruptcy attorneys and assisting in bankruptcy representation for 350 lenders and servicers nationwide.

He is also a member of several bankruptcy organizations, including the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference; the bankruptcy sections of the Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee bar associations; the American Bankruptcy Institute; and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.

McCormick has been on the board since 2012, holding an affiliated attorney/trustee seat. His new term will last an additional two years.

"As an association we rely heavily on the support and volunteer efforts of our board of directors," said ALFN President and CEO Matt Bartel. "Mike has been an active member and advocate for the ALFN since 2004, and I can attest to the fact that his skill set and participation has helped the ALFN maintain our position as an industry leading association over the past 10 years. I am pleased to have him as a member of our leadership team."
