loanDepot Announces Executive Hires

""loanDepot.com, LLC"":http://www.loandepot.com/, an independent mortgage lender based in California, announced four additions to its executive lineup.

H. Lynn Ryan will serve as EVP and CIO starting this week. Ryan most recently served as SVP and CIO of CIT Group and previously held CIO roles at Novastar Financial, Ameriquest, and Argent Mortgage. She has also held senior information technology leadership roles at Sanwa Bank, Bank of America, and Security Pacific National Bank. In her role at loanDepot, she will have oversight of all the company's information technology systems, operations, and services and will be responsible for the strategic direction of loanDepot's technology.

Candis Duke was named COO in January. She most recently served as CRO at Prospect Mortgage Company, and her prior experience includes a role as president at Mortgage & Management Strategies as well as management positions at Plaza Home Mortgage and Suncoast Savings & Loan. At loanDepot, Duke oversees underwriting, credit, funding, and enterprise risk management.

Jeff Walsh, EVP, was hired at the end of 2012 to oversee various departments including processing, human resources, vendor management, and escrow relationships during loanDepot's continued growth. Prior to joining loanDepot, Walsh served as COO of Ameriquest Capital Corporation and previously was president and chairman at Town and Country Credit.

In addition, the company brought on Jeff DerGurahian in 2012 to oversee its capital markets function as EVP. DerGurahian most recently served as EVP of Capital Markets at Prospect Mortgage.
