Recently listing his ""massive estate in Montana"":https://themreport.com/articles/buy-whispering-rock-gain-your-own-private-island-2012-07-03, Abbey has now put his equally expansive California abode up for sale at $78.8 million.

Abbey's eight-acre, 34,000-square-foot property is located on Canyon Road in Bradbury, and ""according to Zillow"":http://www.zillow.com/blog/2012-10-31/real-estate-tycoon-lists-2-estates-for-78m-each/, the home's features include unique amenities such as a temperature-controlled trout pond, shooting range, and hand-built stone wall that surrounds the entire estate, creating privacy. As to why Abbey is opting to list the estates, broker Don Hurwitz told Zillow, ""He did not build them to sell them, but maybe he'll look for something a little smaller, like 20,000 square feet.""
