According to Retreat CEO Arvin Wijay, the company's significant growth stems from increased demand for consulting and project management as the servicing industry continues to evolve.

""The new regulations and new capital standards governing mortgage companies demand a thorough risk management process and comprehensive quality assurance standards,"" Wijay said. ""All too often, servicers are unprepared to develop those standards, which puts them at compliance risk. Retreat ensures that mortgage servicers remain compliant with guidelines and regulations, while making sure their business processes are efficient and cost-effective.""

The boost in staff includes four key executive appointments this year.

Joe Healan was appointed EVP and COO. Healan brings 25 years of in-depth operational, servicing, and risk management experience to the company. He most recently served as COO for Saxon Mortgage, where he oversaw implementation of the Home Affordable [COLUMN_BREAK]

Modification Program (HAMP). He was also responsible for servicing and loss mitigation for the private bank of Morgan Stanley, Saxon's parent company.

Loren Morris was named SVP, general counsel, and chief compliance officer of Retreat. Morris possesses more than 25 years of financial services, mortgage banking, servicing, and secondary market experience, including legal, compliance, operational risk management, strategic transactions, industry relations, and commercial workouts. Most recently, he served as SVP for Bank of America, where he led an initiative to improve the bank's Making Home Affordable (MHA) Service Assessment rating.

Richard Romero and Ronald W. Marcantano were both appointed SVP for Retreat. Romero has 28 years of financial services industry experience, serving as executive director of Morgan Stanley's internal audit group. He also was the director of internal audit and quality control for Accredited Home Lenders. Prior to that, Romero was VP for GreenPoint Bank and Bank of America. He is a certified fraud examiner.

Marcantano is a seasoned executive with more than 40 years' experience in financial services. Before coming to Retreat, he headed up RWM Consulting, where his clients included Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Vericrest Financial, and Saxon Mortgage Servicing. He has also held senior positions at GE Capital in mortgage services, small business finance, and commercial finance.

""These four key executives will help Retreat address the tremendous growth we've experienced and the continued growth we anticipate for the remainder of 2012 and into 2013,"" Wijay said. ""Today's servicers often do not have the time and resources to stay fully abreast of new guidelines and regulations, or to keep all staff thoroughly and properly trained. They're hungry for experts with track records they can rely on. We've found that the high level of expertise our executives bring to the table to be a huge differentiator for us in the industry.""
