Walker & Dunlop Names New Appointees to Expanding Directorship

In Maryland, ""Walker & Dunlop, Inc."":http://www.walkerdunlop.com/, is preparing to welcome two new board members. Announcing the addition of Andrew Florance and Michael Malone to the firm's directorship, Walker & Dunlop filled two of three vacancies on the board.

Current openings on Walker & Dunlop's board resulted from increasing the company's number of directors from from eight to 11 in conjunction with its previous acquisition of ""CWCapital LLC"":http://www.cwcapital.com/Home/Welcome.aspx. Specifically, Walker & Dunlop noted that Malone was added to its directorship pursuant to a purchase agreement dating from June 7, which provides ""that CW Financial is entitled to designate up to two board members for each election of directors.""

Most recently, Malone served as a managing director for ""Fortress Investment Group"":http://www.fortress.com/, a role he held until earlier this year;

In his leadership position for CoStar, Florance is responsible for the company's growth from start-up to its emergence as a publicly-traded enterprise with more than 2,000 employees.
